The Khasab Airport (Arabic مطار خصب, DMG Matar Hasab ) is a mixed military (English: Khasab Airbase ) and of civilian airport at al - Khasab in Musandam Gouvernoment of the Sultanate of Oman.
Location and facilities
The airport is located south of the harbor, at the western edge of the central city at an altitude of 30 m AMSL. He has over a 2500 m long, 23 m wide asphalt runway with orientation 01 / 23rd ILS is not present.
Airlines and destinations
The airport is currently (2011) operated in regular service. Every day the Omani state airline Oman Air comes with an ATR 42-500 from its base on the Muscat Airport to Khasab. The flight time between the two cities is about 65 minutes.
