The Kilimanjaro International Airport (English: Kilimanjaro International Airport, IATA: JRO, ICAO: HTKJ ) is an airport in Tanzania. It is located southwest of Mount Kilimanjaro massif.

The airport was built beyond the broad river valleys to the south of the massif are located on a plateau about 30 km west of Moshi in the direction of the neighboring city of Arusha.

Kilimanjaro International Airport is a small airport, but by its proximity to the major tourist attractions around the Kilimanjaro of particular importance. KLM flies several times a week directly from Amsterdam, Condor service offers non-stop flights from Frankfurt, and Edelweiss Air weekly from Zurich and Ethiopian Airlines are available from several European airports several times a week indirect flights via Addis Ababa. In the year 2006 480.053 passengers and 17,133 aircraft movements were registered. The largest aircraft that can land at JRO, the Boeing 747 making it the second largest airport in the country after the Dar es Salaam airport.

Run from the airport most safaris in East Africa, for example, to the Serengeti National Park, Ngorongoro Crater, Lake Victoria and of course Mount Kilimanjaro.
