Kim Kwan-jin

Kim Kwan -jin ( born August 27, 1949 in Jeonju, Jeonbuk ) is a South Korean politician and retired general. Since 26 November 2010 he is Minister of Defense of South Korea.

Career

Kim Kwan -jin graduated in 1971 from the Military Academy and was from 1999 to 2005 in various command functions operate. In 2005 he was promoted to four- star general. Before taking office, he was the total of 33 chief of staff of the South Korean armed forces.
