Kim Min-jung (speed skater)

Kim Min -jung (born 20 March 1985) is a South Korean Shorttrackerin.

The first international start living in Jeonbuk Kim took place at the Junior World Championships 2003 in Budapest, where she won the bronze medal in singles and the title of the season. To this end, she managed to track victory over 1000 meters. In the same year she also launched for South Korea at the World Cup team, where she helped with good results for the second rank their team. In the Individual World Championship they failed with the relay already in the heats. Nevertheless, they nominated the National Association in October 2003 for the first time for the short track speed skating World Cup. Here she reached the semifinals in any single race, with the relay was disqualified in both races each in the finals.

In the next two years, Kim has been used internationally only at the Winter Universiade in 2005 in Innsbruck. There she won a silver medal in the 3000 meters, they also placed on rank 4 on the 1500 -meter distance. Then she succeeded in October 2006 to return to the World Cup. There, she immediately won two races over 1500 meters and became more podium finishes tenth in the World Cup discipline over this distance.
