Kim Woo-young

Kim Woo -young ( born June 17, 1988 in Seoul) is a South Korean professional ice hockey player who stands since 2011 in Anyang Halla Ice Hockey League in Asia under contract.

Career

Kim Woo -young began his career as a hockey player in the team of Korea University. There Anyang Halla became aware of him and he moved in 2011 to the team from the Asia League Ice Hockey. At the beginning of the 2012/13 season he played briefly in Finland, where he played one game at second division HC Keski- Uusimaa and six games for the Porvoo Hunters from the third-rate Suomi- sarja.

Internationally

For South Korea, Kim Woo -young already took part in the Division I of the U-18 World Cup in 2006 and the Division II of the U- 20 World Cup 2008.

For the Men's National Team, he was nominated for the first time in the Division II of the 2009 World Cup and rose with his team on the Division I. 2011 and 2012 represented Kim his country at the World Championships Division I. After climbing through a 3-2 win over hosts Poland South Korea played at the next World Cup in 2013 for the first time in the A group of the First Division

He also took with the South Korean team in November 2012 in the qualifying tournament for the 2014 Winter Olympics in Sochi part.
