Kimberly Williams-Paisley

Kimberly Payne Williams - Paisley ( born September 14, 1971 in Rye in the U.S. state of New York) is an American actress, film director, film producer and screenwriter.

Life and career

Williams - Paisley has two siblings: fellow actress Ashley Williams and Jay Williams. She graduated from Northwestern University in Evanston, where she was a member of the fraternity Alpha Phi.

Williams - Paisley played in the movie Father of the Bride (1991 ) with Steve Martin and Diane Keaton. For this role she was nominated for the MTV Movie Award. In 1995, the sequel followed a godsend - Father of the Bride 2 In the film Simpatico she starred opposite Nick Nolte, Jeff Bridges and Sharon Stone. She was also in the television series Respectively, again and again to see Jim with James Belushi and Courtney Thorne -Smith and The Tenth Kingdom.

Williams - Paisley directed and wrote the script in two short films: Shade in 2006, in which she played opposite Patrick Dempsey and 2007 Numero Dos. For Shade, she was awarded the festival with the Crystal Heart Award at the Sedona International Film Festival and the Heartland film. She has published several articles in the magazines In Style and Redbook.

Since 2003, Williams - Paisley is married to country singer Brad Paisley, in whose music video for the song I'm Gonna Miss Her she appeared in 2002. The couple has two sons. Previously, she had a two year relationship with the tennis player Pete Sampras.
