Courtney Thorne-Smith
Courtney Thorne -Smith ( born November 8, 1967 in San Francisco, California) is an American actress.
Life and achievements
Thorne -Smith attended Tamalpais High School and Menlo - Atherton High School and studied acting at the Ensemble Theatre Company. She played from 1992 to 1997 on the television series Melrose Place and from 1997 to 2002 in the television series Ally McBeal with.
For the role of the lawyer Georgia Thomas in Ally McBeal, she won the 1999 Screen Actors Guild Award. 1998 and 2000 she was nominated for the same price.
From 2001 to 2009, she starred with James Belushi and Kimberly Williams - Paisley in the television series According to Jim.
Thorne -Smith was married in 2000 to 2001 with the geneticist Andrew Conrad. On 1 January 2007 their marriage took place with the media magnate Roger Fishman. On 11 January 2008, the first child of the couple, a boy, was born.
