King's House on Schachen

The King's House on Schachen is located 1866 meters above sea level high in the mountain Schachen south of Garmisch -Partenkirchen in Wettersteingebirge. King Ludwig II of Bavaria built the palace in the period of 1869-1872 according to plans by Georg Dollman as Ständerbau in Swiss chalet style building made ​​of wood.
