King Tee

King Tee ( born 1968 in Compton, Los Angeles County as Roger McBride ), later King T, is an American rap artist.

Career

King Tee is one of the pioneers of West Coast rap. He released his first album back in the 80s and is still active. He is considered the founder of the Likwit Crew, originally belonged to the outside of him just Tha Alkaholiks. This loose collective of artists connected with time to several rappers from the U.S. west coast. Among Xzibit, Defari, Phil the Agony and Lootpack. Although his first three albums went into the Billboard charts, he was dismissed from his label, Capitol Records, as rap music of the West Coast was extremely popular at this time and he could not keep up with the commercial success of the other artists from the same area. In 1995, he received from his new label Loud Records, a new chance, but at a time in which the aforementioned popularity of West Coast rape decreased slowly. After he had no resounding success with this album, he was released again. Dr. Dre took him afterwards and signed him to his label, Aftermath Entertainment in its initial phase. This, however, had soon realize that a new breed of rappers was asked, so King teas album - the now King T had to call themselves, since the rights for " King Tee " with his old label were - did not appear. It was later published independent. Similarly, it was him at the Ruthless Records, founded originally by Eazy -E.
