Kirburg
Kirburg ( dialect: Kirbursch, Kirbe Rich) is a municipality in the Westerwald district in Rhineland- Palatinate. It belongs to the municipality Bad Marienberg (Westerwald ).
Geographical location
The community lies in the Westerwald between Limburg and victories. The Wäschenbach, which belongs to the catchment area of the victory, flows through the urban area.
History
1215, the village was first mentioned. Kirburg was then the westernmost vicarage of the mother parish Haiger, the border river " Nigra Morla " has given the place Moerlen the name. The half-timbered church Built in 1866 gave 1959 a stone building.
Parish council
The local council in Kirburg consists of twelve council members, who were elected at the municipal election held on 7 June 2009 by majority vote, and the honorary mayor as chairman.

The nearest motorway junction is Haiger / Burbach on the A45 Dortmund - Hanau, about 25 kilometers away.
