Kiril Vajarov
Kiril Wascharow ( Bulgarian Кирил Въжаров; born February 18, 1988 in Sofia, † April 18, 2009 ) was a Bulgarian ice hockey goaltender.
Career
Kiril Wascharow began his career as a hockey player in the youth of HK Slawia Sofia, for the first team, he made his debut in the Bulgarian Hockey League was in season 2004/ 05 and 2005 he was the first time Bulgarian champion and 2006 runner-up. In the years 2008 and 2009 he won the league and cup double with his team.
18 April 2009 Wascharow was attacked with a friend outside a nightclub in Sofia and fatally injured.
Internationally
For Bulgaria Wascharow took part in the U18 Junior D World Championships 2004, 2005 and 2006, as well as the U20 Junior D- 2005 World Championships, the 2006 and 2007. In addition, he was in the squad Bulgaria in the C world championships in 2008 and 2009.
