The Kirnach ( Bavaria ) is a 30 km long river in the district Ostallgaeu. It flows through the towns Unterthingau, Aitrang, Ruderatshofen and Biessenhofen. It rises west of Görisried in Kempter Forest and flows north-east of the hamlet Biessenhofener Ebenhofen in the Wertach.

Due to regular flooding in the lower reaches at Ebenhofen and Biessenhofen 2005/2006 comprehensive measures for flood protection with Leitdeichen, protective walls and road increases were carried out in the mouth region on Kirnachkraftwerk.
