Kitchens of Distinction

Kitchens of Distinction was an English alternative rock band led by singer and bassist Patrick Fitzgerald, guitarist Julian Swales, and drummer Dan Goodman, who released four LPs between 1989 and 1994 and the genre Shoegazing has been assigned.

Band History

The trio Kitchens of Distinction, which found his name in a newspaper advertisement for kitchens made ​​to measure, was founded in 1986 in Tooting, London by Patrick Fitzgerald, Julian Swales and Dan Goodman. After their debut single Last Gasp Death Shuffle, which they released Gold Rush on their band's own label, has been named in the British music magazine NME single of the week, was the independent record label One Little Indian Records attention to the band, they signed her and released after two more singles, the debut album Love Is Hell. The album was well received by the critics, nor what the single Elephantine was released.
