Klemm Kl 31

The Klemm Kl 31 was a civilian passenger aircraft of light Klemm GmbH.

Developed the aircraft in 1930/31 was as pure passenger aircraft. The aircraft differed from the previous terminal patterns by a welded steel tube fuselage and by a closed cab. The aircraft was a cantilever low- wing monoplane of mixed construction with rigid faired standard suspension. The aircraft could accommodate up to four people. The Models terminal KL 31a XIV was equipped with a seven-cylinder radial engine Siemens Sh 14. The improved version terminal KL 31ab XIV received extendable leading edge slats, flaps and an aerodynamic NACA hood. From the machine to 1935, only about 30 were built, none of which survived the Second World War.
