Bystra at Lewin Kłodzki

The Bystra (also Klikawa; German Fast, Czech Bystrá, also Klikava, Střela, Šnela also Bystrina, Slany Potok and Slánský Potok ) is a left tributary of the Mettau. The through by their area belongs to the powiat Kłodzki in the Province of Lower Silesia in Poland.

Description

Although their source is part of Glatz, whose waters drain into the Oder and thus into the Baltic Sea, the Bystra the same, and thus the North Sea flows on, as above source is the watershed. The Bystra that drains the Lewiner Bergland ( Wzgórza Lewińskie ) and often bursts its banks in heavy rain, just East of Zimne Vody (cold water) in the foothills of the Eagle Mountains. Your area originally belonged to the dominion Hummel, who belonged to the Bohemian rule Náchod to 1477 and was incorporated in the same year in the county of Glatz. From the source of the Bystra initially flows northwest through a little inhabited valley in which it receives smaller tributaries, direction Kłodzki Lewin ( Lewin ). From its source to its mouth in the Mettau it forms the Schnelletal ( Dolina Bystrej ).
