KÅ‚odzino, Pyrzyce County

Kłodzino ( German Kloxin ) is a village in the Polish West Pomeranian Voivodeship. It belongs to the rural community Przelewice ( Prill Witz) in a circle Pyrzyce ( Pomerania ).

Geographical location

The former estate village Kłodzino lies to the east of the West Pomeranian Province, 13 kilometers southeast of the county town Pyrzyce ( Pomerania ) on a side street that Płońsko ( Plönzig ) with the province road 122 ( Krajnik Dolny (Lower Kränig ) Pyrzyce ( Pomerania ) Piasecznik ( Petznick ) ) connects with Brzesko ( Brietzig ). The Jezioro Plon ( Plönesee ) is three kilometers away.

The nearest railway station was at the now-closed railway line Stargard ( Stargard in Pomerania ) Pyrzyce Pyrzyce to 2004. Now there is web connection via the 14 km distant station Dolice ( Dölitz ) on the railway line Poznan Szczecin. The 1898 Small -scale railway Pommern- Plönzig the Pyritz Kleinbahnen with breakpoint in Kloxin is still operated until 1954 by the Polish continued and was then dismantled in 1987.

History

Kloxin was from time immemorial a manor village. On June 24, 1835 Heinrich von Randow buys the 5,000 -acre estate with the Vorwerk Ernestinenhof (now Polish: Topolinek ) from its Schwiegermutte Thorein Johanna, born Mechow, for 50,000 dollars. Previous owners were, inter alia, the von Schack, of Küssow of dam and Gaedke. The manor house was from the 19th century.

Before 1945 Kloxin belonged to the district of Pomerania in the district of Stettin Prussian province of Pomerania. With the communities Klücken (now Polish: Kluki ) Kossin ( Kosin ) Prill Witz ( Przelewice ) and Woitfick ( Oćwieka ) it was incorporated in the District Prillwitz and assigned to the registry office Prillwitz.

In 1905, the city counted 381 inhabitants, in 1933 there were 362 and 1939 already 432

After 1945 Kloxin came under the name Kłodzino to Poland and is now the district ( " mayor's office ") of Gmina Przelewice in powiat Pyrzycki in the West Pomeranian Voivodeship ( 1975-1998 Voivodeship Szczecin ). There are about 600 inhabitants.

Church

Village Church

The Kloxiner church building dates from the 13th century. From the church square of heavy-handed to be late medieval tower is worth mentioning, which was broken by a heavy pointed arch - as a passage for cars from south to north. Since 1945

Since 1945, live in Kłodzino almost exclusively Catholic church members. The village is now part of Dean's Office Barlinek ( Berlinchen ) in the Archdiocese of Szczecin - Pomerania of the Catholic Church in Poland.

For the Protestant church members in the region Kłodzino is now a central parish seat.
