Black carbon is a municipality with 709 inhabitants (as of 1 January 2013 ) in the judicial district or district Voitsberg in Styria. From 1 January 2015 it has joined forces framework of the Styrian municipality structural reform with the communities Kainach at Voitsberg and Gallmannsegg, the new community will continue to use the name " Kainach at Voitsberg ".

Community structure

The municipality comprises the two villages (in brackets population as of 31 October 2011):

  • Hemmerberg (430 )
  • Carbon black ( 281)

The municipality comprises the cadastral carbon black.

History

Carbon black is west of Graz. It consists of the two types of carbon black and Hemmerberg. Carbon black is first mentioned in a purchase agreement dated 28 December 1776.
