Kõlleste Parish

Kõlleste is a rural municipality in the Estonian Põlva circle with an area of ​​150.1 km ². It has 1022 inhabitants (as of 1 January 2010).

In addition to the main town Krootuse to the municipality includes the villages Häätaru, Ihamaru, Karaski, Karilatsi, Palutaja, Piigaste, Prangli, Tuulemäe, Todu, Veski and Voorepalu.

Kõlleste is in the northwest of the district. The place was first mentioned in the 17th century as Köllitz documented. The manor of Kõlleste was built in 1549.

In Karilatsi is the Farmer's Museum Founded in 1972, of the district ( Põlva Talurahvamuuseum ) with an old mill and the 1889 built school building.
