Kompania Piwowarska

The Kompania Piwowarska SA is a Polish brewery company, which is about 71.9 percent owned by SABMiller. The company covered by its own account in 2004 36.4 percent of the beer market in Poland from. The company sold the brand Tyskie, Żubr, Lech, Dębowe Mocne, Dog in the Fog, Pilsner Urquell, Miller Genuine Draft, Peroni Nastro Azzurro and Redd's.

REDD 'S

REDD 'S is a mixed drink with an alcohol content of 4.5 percent by volume, which is produced by the brewery company Kompania Piwowarska in Poznan. The drink was originally developed by the SABMiller Group for the South African market and also there is one of the most important beer mixes .. Furthermore, the drink in Russia and Botswana available.

REDD 'S are available in the following flavors: Red (raspberry ), Apple (Apple) and Sun (Orange). In Germany it is not available in normal retail channels, but only through importers.

Economic data

The company has breweries in Tychy, Poznań and Białystok. It sold in the financial year from 1 April 2005 to 31 March 2006 11.4 million hectoliters of beverages, which meant an increase of 11 percent compared to the previous year. The Tyskie brand has a share of the Polish beer market from 17 percent and 11 percent of Żubr.

History

The company was formed in 1999 from the merger of Lech Browary Wielkopolski SA and Gorny Slask Browarów Tyskich SA. Both companies were mostly since 1995 (Lech Browary Wielkopolski ) and 1996 held by the South African Breweries, SABMiller today. 2006 acquired the Kompania Piwowarska SA of the Radeberger group a brewery in Białystok.
