Kong Sang-jeong

Kong Sang- jeong ( Kor. 공상 정; * June 22, 1996 in Chuncheon, Gangwon -do) is a South Korean Shorttrackerin.

Kong is Chinese - Korean descent and lives as a third generation in South Korea. Since it possesses the citizenship of the Republic of China, they could not participate for South Korea in the short track speed skating World Youth Championship in Courmayeur 2011. After the revision of citizenship of South Korea in 2011 they could accept a dual citizenship in December 2011. Kong won the gold medal with the South Korean relay at the Junior World Championships 2013 in Warsaw. At the Olympic Winter Games in Sochi in 2014 she won a gold medal in the relay over 3000 m.
