Kongsvinger Knights

The Kongsvinger Knights are a Norwegian ice hockey club was established in 1961 from Kongsvinger. The men's team plays in the first divisjon and wearing their home games in the halls of Kong.

History

The club was founded on 27 January 1961 by Rolf E. Johnsen, Ola Bie -Larsen, Ola Norstrom, Odd Smedstad, Terje Martinsen and Trond Dahl. In 2004, the team reached the summit for the first time in the second class 1 divisjon. In this the team also plays in the 2012/13 season.
