Rosenborg IHK

Rosenborg Ishockeyklubb, RIHK short, was established in 1934 Norwegian ice hockey club from Trondheim. The team plays in the GET ligaen and wearing their home games in the Leangen Ishall from.

History

The club was founded in 1934. In the following years the team was playing regularly in the first second-rate divisjon, during the great hockey club in the city, the Trondheim Black Panthers were. After its dissolution in 2008 of Rosenborg took the place of the Black Panthers, a community within the Hockey Trondheim. In the 2009/10 season the team reached the summit in the GET ligaen. In their first season in the highest Norwegian league Rosenborg immediately reached the playoffs, where it already but retired in the quarterfinals.
