Konrad Krajewski

Konrad Krajewski ( born November 25, 1963 in Łódź, Poland ) is a Curia, Archbishop of the Roman Catholic Church.

Life

Krajewski studied from 1982 at the seminary of Łódź and received on 11 June 1988, the ordination. In 1990 he went to Rome to continue his studies at the Institute of Sant ' Anselmo. In 1995, he earned a degree in theology with a specialization in liturgy. He returned to Poland and was master of ceremonies of the Archdiocese of Łódź. In 1997 he accompanied Pope John Paul II on his trip to Poland. Since 1998 he lives in Rome and is responsible for the Liturgical Celebrations of the Pope. John Paul II gave him the title of Honorary Prelate 2003 His Holiness ( Monsignor ).

Pope Francis appointed Krajewski on August 3, 2013 to the Pontifical almoner and Titular Archbishop of Beneventum. He received his episcopal consecration of the President of the Governorate of Vatican City, Cardinal Giuseppe Bertello, on 17 September of the same year; Co-consecrators were the president of the Pontifical Committee for International Eucharistic Congresses, Archbishop Piero Marini, and the retired archbishop of Łódź Władysław Ziółek.
