Konstantin Alexeev

Konstantin Sergeyevich Alekseyev (Russian Константин Сергеевич Алексеев; born February 26, 1988 in Novosibirsk, Russian SFSR ) is a Russian ice hockey player who is under contract with HK Sibir Novosibirsk of the Kontinental Hockey League since 2006.

Career

Konstantin Alexeyev started his career as a hockey player in his hometown in the junior department of the HK Sibir Novosibirsk in which he was active until 2005. Then he gave in the 2005/06 season his debut in professional hockey for the Energia Kemerovo from the Wysschaja League, the second Russian league. Since 2006, the defender plays regularly for the HK Sibir Novosibirsk. First, he participated with the team in the game operation of the Super League since the 2008/ 09 season in the newly formed Kontinental Hockey League.
