Köprüköy ( dt: Bridge village, also known as Çobandede known Kurmanji Avnîk ) is a town and a district in the province of Erzurum in northeastern Turkey.

The small town Köprüköy between Khorasan and Pasinler on a bridge over the Aras River. The 200 meter long bridge dates from the time of the Ilkhanate and was built in 1297 by Amir Tschupan. In recent years, the population has dropped tremendously by the massive emigration of the native population. The county has a total of 18,700 inhabitants, in the city Köprüköy live only 1,765 inhabitants. At Köprüköy the European route leads past 80.
