Koray Şanlı

Koray Şanlı ( born December 26, 1989 in Mersin ) is a Turkish footballer who currently plays for Yeni Malatyaspor.

Career

Association

Koray Şanlı began with the club football in the youth of İstanbulspor and then went through the youth teams of several clubs in Istanbul, including Istanbul Beşiktaş. In the spring of 2007 he was awarded a professional contract with Beşiktaş, played in the episode but still almost exclusively for the reserve team. Only in a league encounter, he made his debut for the first team.

In the summer of 2008, he then moved to the third division Akçaabat Sebatspor and played here a long time game throughout.

He then moved to season 2009/10 second division Adanaspor. In his first season he came as a reserve player for regular operations and missed his team's promotion to the Süper Lig until the relegation of TFF 1 Lig While he regularly as a substitute was used in the 2010/11 season, he conquered in the next season back a regular place. In the season 2011/12 he managed with his club to the play-off final of the TFF 1 Lig In the final they lost in extra time Kasımpaşa Istanbul 2:3 and thus missed the promotion to the Süper Lig until the last encounter.

For the 2013/14 season Şanlı joined Yeni Malatyaspor.

National

Koray Şanlı went through the Turkish U-18 and U-19 youth national teams.
