Kornelia Kunisch

Kornelia Kunisch ( born October 17, 1959 in Lubben as Kornelia Elbe) is a former German handball player.

Career

The Handball Game Kornelia Kunisch started at TSG calbe. In 1973 she moved to SC Magdeburg. By 1990, they remained loyal to the club and has achieved numerous national and international successes during this time. GDR national coach Peter Kretzschmar they called in the GDR selection. For the women's team of the GDR Kunisch played 200 international matches, in which they threw 675 goals. After the turn she went to TuS Eintracht Minden in the Handball - Bundesliga. In 1997, she then finished their Bundesliga career and moved to third division VT Biickeburg. With the team, it rose in 2001 to the second Handball - Bundesliga North, but then played only the home games of the team.

Kornelia Kunisch is a qualified sports teacher, now working as a physiotherapist in Minden. She also trains the youth of C- GWD Minden. Her son Christopher plays for GWD Minden in the 3rd league.
