Krainke west of the stack, upriver considered

It rises a few meters south of the river the Rögnitz in the municipality of Vielank in the district Woosmer belonging Schlonsberge settlement and initially flows in a southwesterly direction, the border between Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania and Lower Saxony is exceeded. In the municipality of Amt Neuhaus from the Krainke Tripkau makes an elongated arc to the northwest, where it extends parallel to the Elbe and the federal highway 195 through the biosphere reserve Lower Saxony Elbe Valley. On their way to the waters flow to numerous drainage ditches and the Stixer and Zeetzer lake it flows through them. In addition, there are other lakes -like expansions. A few meters after re- crossing the state border, the Krainke flows south-east of possession in the brews.

The Krainke 1990 was reported by a decision of the then District Schwerin day in their entire course including the 50 meter wide riparian strips as a nature reserve called Krainke from source to confluence with the brews.
