The Mountfield HK is an ice hockey club from Hradec Králové, Czech Republic. He plays for a license purchase in July 2013 in the top division of the Czech Republic, the Extraliga. Play their home games, the club since 1957 in Hradec Králové from Zimni stadium that offers 7700 spectators.

History

1925 Bruslařský club Hradec Králové was established in Hradec Králové, who belonged to the Czech Ice Hockey Association from 1926. After the Second World War, the club was renamed Škoda Sokol Hradec Králové in 1948, played his first team at the regional level. Four years later, the club was renamed again: As Spartak Hradec Králové ACR you took continues to participate in regional competitions because there was no artificial ice surface in Hradec Králové. Ascents and descents (1967-2013)

In 1973, a new league structure was created to Spartak not qualified for the new 1 ČNHL, but rose from the third-rate second ČNHL. Buying a Extraliga license ( since 2013)

During the 2012/13 season, the Extraliga agreed a sponsorship deal with the Radegast brewery, which received the exclusive serving approvals at all stages of the game class from the following season. This contract collided with the agreement between the city of České Budějovice and the Budweiser Budvar Brewery provides regarding the name and dispensing rights of Budvar Aréna, the high penalties for serving a different brand of beer as Budweiser in the arena. Home ground

The club plays its home matches at the stadium Zimni Hradec Králové, which was opened in 1957 as an open air stadium.
