Krapkowice County

The powiat Krapkowicki is a powiat ( county ) in the Polish province of Opole with the county town of Krapkowice ( Krappitz ). The county has an area of ​​442.35 km ², which is roughly 67,000 inhabitants.

Geography

The county is centrally located in the Opole Voivodship and part of the historical region of Upper Silesia. Neighboring districts are in the north of Opole, in the east Strzelce ( United Strehlitz ), in the south - Kędzierzyn Koźle ( Kędzierzyn - Cosel ) and in the south and west Prudnik ( Neustadt OS).
