Prudnik County
The powiat Prudnicki is a powiat ( county ) in the Polish province of Opole with the county town of Prudnik ( Neustadt OS) The county has an area of 571.16 km ², which is roughly 60,000 inhabitants.

Geography
The district is located in the south of Opole Voivodeship, on the Czech border. Neighboring districts are in the west and north of Nysa, Opole in the north and Krapkowice, in the east and in the south Kędzierzyn -Koźle Głubczyce and the Czech Okres Bruntál.

The powiat includes four municipalities, three urban and rural communities whose eponymous main towns have a city charter and a rural community.

The communities Biała and Głogówek are powerful municipal council officially bilingual since 2006, as the German population makes up in these communities over 20%.
