CID is a live television broadcast of the Central German Radio (MDR ).
Originally the program was broadcast on DFF 2 at irregular intervals and at different time slots and ran there for the first time on 19 May 1990. According to the shutdown of DFF2 the MDR took over the mission on 5 January 1992, since then it radiates every Sunday at 19:50 clock out for 25 minutes.
