Kris Marshall
Kristopher " Kris " Marshall (born 1 April 1973 in Malmesbury ) is a British actor who has excelled in numerous television series and films.
Life
Marshall grew up in the Cotswolds, spent part of his childhood but also in Hong Kong and Canada. He attended Wells Cathedral School, which he graduated with the A-level. One of his jobs was in his youth the Redroofs Stage School. He started his career at a young age, as he appears in the British soap opera The Bill. In 2000, he had his breakthrough as Nick Harper in the sitcom My Family. This role earned him the 2002 British Comedy Award for a Best Newcomer. He starred in various films and television series and played 2006 theater. As of 2014, Marshall will embody the role of Detective Humphrey Goodman in the British television series Death in Paradise. The current lead actor Ben Miller will be leaving the show during the third season and replaced by him.
