Kristi Richards
Kristi Richards ( born October 27, 1981 in Penticton, British Columbia) is a Canadian freestyle skier. She specializes in moguls and dual moguls ( moguls ). 2007 she became world champion.
Biography
Richards made his debut on 26 January 2002 at the World Cup race in Whistler, where they placed ninth. In the following season 2002/ 03 they placed himself seven times in the top ten and missed a podium several times just barely. In the 2003 World Cup in Deer Valley, they came on the eighth. Due to injury, they had to cancel and in the season 2004/ 05 she was no more than ninth place, the entire 2003/04 season. On 18 December 2005, she was in second place in Oberstdorf first time on the podium. It was followed by three more top-10 results, including seventh place at the Olympic Winter Games 2006. Late season 2005/ 06 she won her first Canadian title.
On January 13, 2007 Richards was a World Cup event to decide for itself the dual moguls race at Deer Valley for the first time. In the course of the season 2006/ 07 two more podium finishes were added. In Madonna di Campiglio she won at the 2007 World Championships, the Moguls Gold Medal, where she was able to prevail against, among others Olympic champion Jennifer Heil. In the World Cup season 2007/ 08 she was three times on the podium, while her did not succeed in the 2008 /09 season. At the 2009 World Championships in Inawashiro she came in 5th place in the discipline moguls. At the beginning of the season 2009/10 Richards succeeded the second World Cup victory.
The World Cup season 2010/11 started Richards with three third places. Also, she was third at the 2011 World Championships in Deer Valley in moguls competition.
