University of Kristianstad (Swedish: högskolan i Kristianstad ) is a public university in the city of Kristianstad, Sweden, enrolled with approximately 15,000 students and 800 academic staff.

The University of Kristianstad originated in 1977 through the merger of higher education institutions in Kristianstad, whose history is partly dating back to the 19th century. The university is divided today into five departments and a technical school.
