Kristina Bach

Kristina Bach (real name: Kerstin Bräuer, born April 7, 1962 in Mettmann ) is a German pop singer, songwriter and music producer.

Life

Bach won a Youth Festival at age 13. Later, she played the role of Rosa Fröhlich in Heinrich Mann's Professor debris. After school, she completed a vocal and dance training, she next learned the piano and guitar. They also took acting lessons. After that, she was a presenter of various television productions.

Musical career

In the early 1980s Bach was discovered as a singer, took her first single in 1983, and 1984 had their first success with the resumption of the old hit song from the 1960 Hot Sand (then sung by Mina ). The late 1980s was followed by further hits and appearances on radio and television. The big breakthrough came in 1990 with the Jean- Frankfurt - title Only a cappuccino. She has won, among other six times in a row, the German hit parade. In 1993 she was in the U.S. Billboard dance charts with a dance version of the musical The Phantom of the opera with which they could keep for several weeks in the Top 20. In 1997, she did not sing on the title Give along with Dorco German.

Music production, lyrics and compositions

In the early 1990s Bach discovered the singer Michelle. Through them, she came to producer Jean Frankfurter. In 1994, Bach applied titled Matador at the German Schlager- Festival and finished in 5th place. Bach is the patron of the " German Allergy and Asthma Association ". She herself is an asthmatic since childhood. She is also an ambassador for the José Carreras Leukemia Foundation and ambassador for World Vision Germany.

From March to April 2011, she participated in the fourth season of Let's Dance at the side of Erich Klann.
