Krzesimir Dębski

Krzesimir Dębski ( born October 26, 1953 in Wałbrzych ) is a Polish jazz violinist, composer and conductor.

Life

Dębski studied music at the Academy of Music in Poznan. While studying the violinist came in contact with the Polish jazz scene. At first, he played in the band of Kazimierz Jonkisz. As the founder and band leader of the band string connection he made since 1980 at numerous festivals at home and abroad for sensation and since then has been the best jazz violinists on the international jazz scene. As early as 1985 he was elected by the American jazz magazine Down Beat in the top ten of the best jazz violinists in the world. Since 1986 he has been especially busy with his own compositions. In addition to his jazz pieces now created over 40 symphonic works and numerous film scores. As a conductor, he led international orchestras and worked with artists such as José Carreras and Nigel Kennedy.
