Krzysztof Lipiec

Krzysztof Bogdan Lipiec ( born October 11, 1959 in Starachowice ) is a Polish politician, Senator of the Fourth legislature and since 2005 member of the Sejm in the V. and VI. Election period.

He finished his studies in physics at the University of Education in Kielce and worked as a teacher. For some years he was employed by the Department of Education of the Solidarity trade union.

In the 80 years he was connected with the democratic opposition and active inter alia in Niezależne Zrzeszenie Studentów ( Independent Students Association - NZS ). During the state of war he was interned from 13 December 1981 to 2 July 1982.

In the years from 1997 to 2001 he was a senator on the list of Akcja Wyborcza Solidarność ( Solidarity coalition - AWS ) for the Kielce Voivodeship. From 1998 to 2002 he was a Member of the Parliament of the Świętokrzyskie Voivodeship, and sat thereafter until 2005 at the council of powiat Starachowicki.

He was with the Ruch Społeczny AWS ( AWS Social Movement ) connected, after which he joined the Prawo i Sprawiedliwość ( Law and Justice - PiS) at. In the parliamentary elections in 2005, was elected for the constituency of Kielce on the list of PiS in the Sejm. The Sejmwahlen 2007, he was confirmed with 4,525 votes as a Member. He is a member of the Sejm Commission for EU affairs.
