The Kuhsee is a man-made lake in the Augsburg district Hochzoll. The name arose from the fact Kuhsee that were performed on the erstwhile connected to the Lech River Backwater cows for impregnation. Already the Altwasserarm the Lech river was popularly referred to as Kuhsee.
