Kuntsevskaya (Moscow Metro)

Kuntsevskaya is an underground station of the Moscow Metro in the district Kunzewo in the Western Administrative District of Moscow. It is part of Arbatsko - Pokrowskaja and the Filjowskaja line. The subway station is about 300 meters north of the station Kunzewo.

History

Kuntsevskaya opened Ranks # 31 August 1965. Between 1965 and the end of 2007, the metro station was only Filjowskaja - line and had only one central platform, which was the same as the above-ground vestibule, built in an extremely simple, unified architecture. On January 7, 2008, a new side platform was taken with a Zugangsvestibül and a transitional bridge between the platforms in operation south of the old platform. Since then Kuntsevskaya is an interchange station between the Filjowskaja line, which now ends in Kuntsevskaya, and the direction west extended Arbatsko - Pokrowskaja line.
