The copper creek, on some maps also called Töpener Bach or Töpenbach, is an approximately nine kilometers long river in the border area between the Thuringian Saale- Orla-Kreis and the Bavarian district court. It rises between the villages Mißlareuth (municipality Reuth ) and Gebersreuth (city Gefell ), first flows towards the south and forms the three free states - stone for a few meters, the limit starting between Bavaria and Thuringia, then between Bavaria and Saxony, then it runs on Bavarian area.
