Kyle Korver

Kyle Korver Eliott ( born March 17, 1981 in Lakewood, California) is an American professional basketball player who plays for the Atlanta Hawks in the NBA.

Career

Kyle Korver played at Creighton University in Omaha, Nebraska basketball until he was recognized during the 2003 NBA Draft by the New Jersey Nets at 51st place in the second round. The New Jersey Nets traded those rights later to the Sixers on. Since the season 2010/2011 Kyle Korver played for the Chicago Bulls, of which he was traded on July 16, 2012 on the Atlanta Hawks.

Now since the 2003/ 04 season he plays shooting guard and small forward in the NBA. He is known particularly for his litters of the three-point line and from more distant distance. So he has a hit rate of 40 % for three-point throws.

In the 2009/10 season, Korver could achieve a personal record of the three- point line. He finished the regular season with an average of 53.64 %, which he achieved the highest rate of all players and also set a new NBA record in the category of highest three-point batting average in a season.

Kyle Korver currently holds the record with the highest number of hit three-point throws in consecutive games. Until 06 March 2014, he had in 127 games converted at least a three-point throw in a row. In the game against the Portland Trail Blazers ended this record when he was able to turn any of his five litters of the three-point line.
