Other critics were clearly disappointed about the film by Corbucci, his first Western comedy, who had already submitted masterpieces in the genre: "One of the most extreme exercises in genre parody " called him Christian Kessler, the hero a-row be " in the gallery of unintellectual revolutionaries of subversives against his will, " the robust coarseness of his girlfriend over but destroy them. G. Colpart certified " physical, direct cinema ", whose nonstop violence present, however, would deprive themselves of their effect itself.
