Labuništa

Labunista ( Лабуништа Macedonian, Albanian Llabunishti, Turkish Labunista ) is a village in the municipality of Struga in southwestern Macedonia. The municipal seat of Struga is runf eleven kilometers south east ( straight line ). Neighboring towns are in the north Boroec, in the east and in the south Tašmaruništa Podgorci. Labunista is one of the main settlements of the Torbeschen in the region of Struga and by far the biggest village in the municipality of Struga. The village currently has with the diaspora about 11 000 inhabitants, making it also one of the largest villages in Macedonia.

The village was formed in 2004 to an independent municipality itself with the surrounding villages, but was connected with the local government reform this year the municipality of Struga. The coat of arms shown on the right top part of this community, but since 2004 no longer relevant.
