Lachlan Shire

Lachlan is located in the center of the state in the Central West region about 460 km west of the city of Sydney and 300 km north- west of the Australian capital Canberra. The area includes 77 districts and towns, including Albert, Burcher, Burgooney, Condobolin, Fairholme, Fifield, Lake Cargelligo, Tottenham, Tullibigeal and parts of Derriwong and Tullamore. The seat of the Shire Council is located in Condobolin in the center of the LGA, where about 2,800 inhabitants.

Management

The Lachlan Shire Council has 15 members, who are elected by the residents of the five wards (three Councillor from Ward A to E). These five districts are set independently of the villages. From the circle of Councillor also the Mayor ( Mayor ) of the Council recruited.
