Laçin

Laçin is a town and a district in the Turkish province of Çorum. The city is located about 25 kilometers north of the provincial capital of Çorum.

The district is located in the northeast of the province. It is bordered on the east by the province of Amasya on the south, the central district, on the west by Oğuzlar and Dodurga and to the north by Osmancık. The city lies on the southern slope of the mountain Laçin İnegöl Dagi, about four kilometers east of the river Kizilirmak.

Laçin was born from the merger of the villages Büyüklaçin and Küçüklaçin and in 1990 the district.

Attractions

About four kilometers southwest of the city lies a Hellenistic rock grave with the name Kapılıkaya.
