Lajedo is a Freguesia (municipality ) in the district of Lajes das Flores Azores on the island of Flores. The place is the most south-westerly of the island and connected across the main road R 1-2 with the district towns of Lajes and Santa Cruz.

The village is known for its Lajedo lying seaside hot spring Água Quente. Above the village there is the impressive basalt formation Rocha dos Bordões.

On June 10, 1909, the RMS was Slavonia, a passenger steamer of the Cunard Line, on the way from New York to Trieste on the rocks in front Lajedo. After settling of the first SOS call of world history all 410 passengers were picked up by the hurrying German ships Batavia and Princess Irene. The Slavonia was beyond saving and later sank in a storm.
