Lance Cade
Lance K. McNaught ( born March 2, 1981 in Omaha, Nebraska; † 13 August 2010), better known by his ring name Lance Cade, was an American professional wrestler. He most recently worked at WWE and three-time World Tag Team Champion.
Career
Lance Cade learned the basics of wrestling in the wrestling school of Shawn Michaels in San Antonio in 1999. Afterwards he went to Japan for Frontier Martial -Arts Wrestling, where he gained his first tag team experience along with Bryan Danielson before he organization left back in February 2000. In 2001, he graduated from a so-called " development agreement " with the WWE and spent the next period in their training leagues. In one of these leagues, Ohio Valley Wrestling, he should already form a team with his future tag team partner Trevor Rhodes.
WWE
In June 2003, Cade debuted in WWE RAW main show as a single wrestler Garrison Cade. A short time later, Mark Jindrak has given it as a tag team partner and left the two against established names for the World Tag Team Champion compete. Winning the title were denied. After Jindrak was transferred to the show Smackdown, was dissolved on the team. After belang looser matches Cade injured in July 2004 in the leg and had to pause.
After working in early 2005 in the training league OVW in his, after the injury, lack of form, he was introduced on August 22 of the year along with Trevor Rhodes as a new tag team with Southern gimmick. The two won equal their debut match against the then reigning Tag Team Champions and therefore received a title match. On September 18, 2005, they could win the World Team Championship title tag and held this until 1 November, when Kane and Big Show new champions were.
Then the team was split and Cade often approached in Heat, the side show of the WWE, against jobbers as well as in a few matches on RAW. As part of a feud with his former partner Gene Snitsky and Goldust the team was reformed in 2006.
In this context, the two were now, this time on Edges page, get involved in its feud with D- Generation X.
In 2007 he again a title feud, this time against the Hardy Boyz. On 4 June of the year they were able to tag team title finally win for the second time and keep him until September 5, when they had to leave him in the short term at a house show to him on September 8, already recovering.
