The country Eckerberg ( even called Landecker ) is a 510.9 m above sea level. NN high mountain and one of the northernmost mountains of Bavaria, Hesse and Thuringia ( Germany ) located Central Mountains Rhön Mountains or their part Kuppenrhön in the municipalities of Schenklengsfeld, Friedewald and Hohenroda in Hessen Hersfeld-Rotenburg district.

Geographical location

The Landecker mountain is located in the northern part of the Kuppenrhön or the Rhön biosphere reserve. The largest village on the hill is Schenklengsfeld, which is on its southwest side. Geology
