Langenapel is a town and a district of the town of Salzwedel in the Altmark Salzwedel in Saxony- Anhalt, Germany.

Geography

The municipality is located in the western Altmark, about five kilometers from the Lower Saxon border. The nearest major cities are Salzwedel twelve kilometers north-east and the Lower Saxony Uelzen approximately 30 kilometers northwest of Langenapel. The region is drained by the Salzwedel Stupid extending in a north-south direction. History

Attractions
